This is my build of Koush’s ClockWorkMod Recovery 6.0.4.9. This recovery is common to all ZTE devices with board name atlas40 (e.g. ZTE Blade III, ZTE Acqua, V889D, V880E etc).

Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Select Update Driver. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions. Reinstall the device driver. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

- ClockworkMod Recovery also called as CWM is the nothing but the custom recovery for android tablet, phones and other devices. Main feature of Clockworkmod is comprehensive backup and restore to handle technical disaster. It can also be used for data recovery, installation, restoration and for custom official or unofficial OS.
- This is a port of the ClockworkMod Recovery V3.0.0.5 for Folio100. Almost everything is functional except some minors issues. Known issues: boot part is not backup when using Backup / Restore. Update 1: Cache is mounted at start.
This recovery is fully working with goodies such as repeatable keys and adb sideload support. Use volume keys to navigate menus and power button to select.
Do not use this recovery to flash official updates from ZTE website! You need to repack them for ClockWorkMod or use the stock recovery to install.
How to make clean ROM dump/backup of your device (before you root or install cwm): (recommended)
- download ZTE USB drivers
- download Android SDK platform-tools (Windows, Linux, Mac) to get adb and fastboot
- download recovery-cwm60xx-atlas40.img recovery image
- create a new directory somewhere and copy adb.exe, fastboot.exe and recovery-cwm60xx-atlas40.img into it
- plug in your device via USB cable and install drivers (make sure you’ve enabled USB debugging on your device)
- change into the directory you’ve created and execute following commands in terminal window (boots into recovery instead of flashing it)
- select backup & restore -> backup (Seriously, always backup your device before you install anything!)
How to install ClockWorkMod Recovery (windows):
- download ZTE USB drivers
- download Android SDK platform-tools (Windows, Linux, Mac) to get adb and fastboot
- download recovery-cwm60xx-atlas40.img recovery image
- create a new directory somewhere and copy adb.exe, fastboot.exe and recovery-cwm60xx-atlas40.img into it
- plug in your device via USB cable and install drivers (make sure you’ve enabled USB debugging on your device)
- change into the directory you’ve created and execute following commands in terminal window
- congratulations, you have installed cwm on to your device
- boot into ClockWorkMod by pressing volume up (or down) while powering on or using ‘adb reboot recovery’
- select backup & restore -> backup (Seriously, always backup your device before you install anything!)
How to root your device via recovery:
- download SuperSU and save it to your sdcard
- follow instructions on how to install/boot ClockWorkMod recovery
- install SuperSU zip in ClockWorkMod recovery
If you have already gained root access with some other root method, you can flash recovery using Terminal Emulator:
- copy recovery-cwm60xx-atlas40.img to the root of your phone’s sdcard
- execute following commands in terminal emulator

United Nations Convention on Contracts for the Sale of Goods. You may not
export the Software in violation of applicable export laws and regulations.
Intel is not obligated under any other agreements unless they are in writing
and signed by an authorized representative of Intel.
GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS. The Software is provided with 'RESTRICTED
RIGHTS.' Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government is subject to
restrictions as set forth in FAR52.227-14 and DFAR252.227-7013 et seq. or its
successor. Use of the Software by the Government constitutes acknowledgment
